Lasnigo – Church of Sant’Alessandro

In Lasnigo, not far from the center of village, on a modest hill, stands the Church of S. Alessandro, a small Romanesque jewel with an elegant and slender bell tower embellished by single and double windows (XII century); inside the apse area is adorned by a valuable fresco of the Crucifixion by the artist Andrea de Passeris, dated 1513. In 1912 the church was declared a National Monument with a decree of the Ministry of Education.
